How long does it take to restore from a disaster?

Our standard RTO (Recovery Time Objective) is under 1 hour for critical systems. Full environment recovery depends on data volume, but most clients are operational within 4-8 hours. We'll define your specific RTO/RPO during planning and test it annually.

Are backups compliant with HIPAA/PCI-DSS?

Yes. All backups are encrypted with AES-256 at rest and in transit. Access is logged and role-restricted. Retention policies meet or exceed regulatory requirements. We provide the documentation your auditors need.

What about our cloud/SaaS data (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace)?

Microsoft and Google's built-in retention is limited and not a true backup. We deploy third-party backup solutions that protect your email, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, and Google Workspace data with point-in-time restore capabilities.

Can ransomware encrypt our backups?

Not with immutable storage. Our backup architecture uses write-once-read-many (WORM) storage that cannot be modified or deleted, even by someone with admin credentials. This is specifically designed to defeat ransomware encryption of backup data.

What's the difference between backup and disaster recovery?
